Celebrate the Year of Goat

This year, there will be a fourteen day celebration at Melbourne’s Chinatown, starting from the 16th February 2015. The activities will include culinary delights, arts and crafts and cultural events.

Start your Chinese New Year celebrations at the Chinese Museum. Join our Penjing Tea Garden for some traditional Chinese tea and biscuits. Follow our curator Dr Sophie Couchman for a special Chinatown tour. Discover the largest dragon in the world and be a part of the dragon parade taking place on Sunday 22 February to celebrate the Year of Goat.
