Artefacts

Artefacts is a story telling exhibition and a collaborative effort, hosted at the Chinese Museum, bringing together some diverse and compelling cross cultural artworks by artists from Sydney and Melbourne.

By using a series of paper-based artworks, each participating artist presents their personal life journeys from different perspectives. The artists include: William Yang, Andrew Goldie, Godelieve Mols, Anthony Sawrey and Nicholas Chin. Sydney artist, Arthur Chan, curated this exhibition. Arthur is committed to promote cultural diversity and inclusiveness through this exhibition.

On Saturday 7 June 2014, at 2 pm, artist Anthony Sawrey will present a floor talk at the Chinese Museum. Sawrey will be sharing his stories and inspirations behind his land paintings. During this session, participants are also encouraged to share their own stories. No booking required. General admission charges apply ($8 adult, $6 concession).
